Original Nintendo NES Console and Controller Desk Lamp – Nintendo Light Sculpture With Lamp Shade
This was the machine that defined an era, the dawn of the golden age of video gaming!!
This is a very unique lamp sculpture I made using an original Nintendo NES console and 2 controllers. The system and the controllers no longer worked so I recycled them into something new and functional. The two controllers can be turned and positioned in many ways giving this piece a fun interactive quality. Most of the buttons on both controllers can be pressed like normal. The console itself in great condition with all the plugs and switches intact and serves as a very sturdy base for the lamp. A really cool feature is that the game door can be flipped open revealing a nice little secret compartment for stashing small items (like rings, coins, etc). The lamp fixture is mounted very securely with the vertical metal rod double bolted to a metal plate inside the console. Own a very rare piece of Nintendo history that still functions in the modern world.
The perfect accent to any game room or man cave.
